Surgery Tomorrow

Hi Everyone!
So the day is finally here (again!).   I didn't do as well with the liquid diet this time as last time (I did a full week liquid diet prior to the originally scheduled surgery date of 4/28/09 which was cancelled while I was waiting to be wheeled into the OR).

My MD said he is not strict with any type of pre-op liquid diet, however I am having some guilt over not doing liquids longer this time (I've done 3 days).    

Beyond that I am very excited for tomorrow and at this point its more like I can't wait to get it over with.  I am nervous about things to come after surgery (pain, complications, etc) but will try to be strong and take it in stride :)

I appreciate everyone's support- so glad I found this board and can't wait to meet many of you in person now that I'm almost on the "losers bench". 

I really appreciate everyone's prayers and well wishes for tomorrow!

I am sooo glad you are excited - the pain is worth it - it only lasts a few days - just keep moving and you will feel better sooner!  I am excited for you as well - Good luck!  I will be thinking of you tomorrow! :)
