Remember Val?

Val is one who has been on the boards in the past.  Her and her husband John both had WLS quite a number of years back (6 maybe?) and have been successing ever since.  Recently, Val had some medical problems which are starting to be resolved thanks to her (adopted) surgeon Dr. Brader and a GI doctor also in the Lancaster area.

Val posted on Facebook that her father passed.  From the sounds of it, this was very recent, and although he was sick for quite some time, the death came unexpectedly.

She is glad he is not sick or suffering any more, but obviously upset as dealing with such a close death is never easy.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I was just thinking about them today.  I missed the post on FB.  I guess people pop into your mind for a reason...and this must have been why....thanks for the heads up.  I will email her.

Thanks for the info Pam.  I too was thinking about her this week.  I was wondering how she was doing and if she was getting her health problems resolved.  I am so sorry for her loss I think she has been through so much lately.

She is such a nice person I hope all goes well for her.  She was my angel before my surgery.  I wish her and her family the best.
