HI Everyone,

I am looking to update my workout playlist with some new songs.. What are your favorite songs to work out to??

That all depends on what kind of music you like - my MP3 has a real mix of stuff - from oldies to country and classic rock and just about everything inbetween. I like to start with a slower song to warm up, then ramp up my speed (on my recumbant bike or t'mill) with a couple of songs that get faster and faster, then slow it down again for a song or two, then back up, and of course something nice and easy to cool down to.

Queen has some great songs to work out too - anything with a good, steady beat will keep you moving.

Have fun!

Latin music (gotta love Ricky Martin for that!), Cher, Eurythmics/Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Grey Eye Glances, and Glenn Miller!  I've gotten really into some of the big band era stuff for working out (jitterbug-speed) - it really can move you!

I loaded EVERYTHING i have into iTunes and ran a "smart playlist" one day with the criteria of BPM (beats per minute) being over 135... that gave me a "candidate list" of fast stuff to pick from (some of which really surprised me!) in building my workout list.
