If you are allowed full liquids, a filling meal will be chobani plain f/f s/f yogourt with Jell-o fat free sugar free pie and pudding mix (just the powder) add to it to taste.  Its good protein and very thick.  My favorites are banana cream or pistachio. Blend it with a for****il all the powder is absorbed.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I had Dr Boe too, and while I won't say it was the easiest thing to get thru I did manage and survive, and you will too. And remember, you can have as much as you want - there are no limits - just on what you have. And yes, Dr Boe will be able to tell if you've stuck to the plan and trust me, it will make your surgery and recovery so much easier if you do as told. I lost 17 lbs on it and he was thrilled.

So honey suck it up - its only a few more days and trust me after that you won't even want to think about food for a while!! Have as much broth (I bought good canned soups and strained the noodles and veggies - that broth has more substance and taste and seemed more filling) - and know that you're doing what's best for your body and the surgery.

I truly understand what you are going through and feeling. i cried for almost the two weeks lol. Watching Dh and my daughter eat just killed me so i left and went for a walk or went out and got my nails done once. Oh and i drank lots and lots of water. But honestly i cheated and my dr. new that. I felt horrible and I felt if i didnt tell him something would go wrong during surgery. But we are all human and we slip, it was a tiny slip but i am glad i stuck to it mostly because 8 weeks out and down 40lbs, i feel like that 2 week diet was worth the tears.

You can do it I know you can!!!

I too did a lot of sleeping during my liquid hell.

It was easier than being around food smells...my kitchen....humans...comercials...just about anything

I lived on jello, broth, popsicles, and fruit juice and had earth-shattering diarhea for 2 weeks. It f-ing sucked!

But I survived. You will too!

I started my 2 wk liquid diet the Monday of Thanksgiving week.  Talk about being difficult!!  There I sat with my extended family with turkey and all the trimmings plus all the  wonderful, awesome smells around me.  I had green Isopure, orange sf jello and tomato soup as my meal. It honestly was ok.  I knew that I hadn't come this far with all the struggles to mess up by cheating.  I lost 19lbs in 2 wks. (regained 16 in the hospital-ERRR!)

I have saved the'cheating' until now. I am human and thus entitled to screw up but never on allow it on a grand scale just a bite or two here and there.

You can do this!!

Hi Remi,

The girls have given you a lot of great advice.  I drank protein shakes several times a day.  I had the cappuccino Nectar with milk and the peach Nectar with water and peach tea powder.  I also ate pudding made with milk.  I think I had yogurt too.  One day when I was feeling really light headed I made my self 1 scrambled egg.  It helped calm me down.
WaWa has great chicken soup.  Take a 16oz coffee cup and have them put just broth in the cup.  I drank these daily.  After the 10 day diet I felt empowered.  I had actually accomplished something.  I did only lose 6lbs, that was kind of frustrating.  But I do not have a scale at home so I did not know how much I had lost until surgery day.
I had my surgery on Aug 27th.  I am now down 100lbs!  You will do great and Dr. Boe will take good care of you.
