It's amazing how you can wait and wait and wait for awhile...and then something like 2-4 days is unbearable.  It'll be over before you know it, though!

Hi - welcome to the PA forum.  Everyone here is really nice and super helpful. 

Hang in there with the wait - it's the hardest part.  I was approved for surgery on March 18.  My surgery date is not until June 23. Just over 3 months !   My surgeon required testing for sleep apnea.  Turns out I have a mild/moderate case.  Surgeons vary in their requirements quite a bit - mine requires 200 hours on the C-pap machine with a diagnosis of sleep apnea.  Between that requirement and having a pre-planned vacation, my date was pushed off til June.  No biggie though, I'm using the time to educate myself.

thank you for the welcome! my surgeon also has a requirement for the cpap, but I *think* it's just a two week time frame. not sure if it's by hours...if so that's ok. I just want a date! lol.

I STILL remember what the waiting was like and it was almost 2 years ago.  I can certainly relate to how you feel.  Welcome to the PA boards.  I've been away for a while, but it's a great group of people.
