Tuesday Workouts...
BACK ON TRACK!! Four weeks out from surgery (last Friday) I tried some slow elptical - and ended up running 30 minutes and then another 2 miles outside with the dog. It felt heavenly!! I repeated on Saturday - harder - but still managed. Saturday night - 5 hours of dancing - felt sore on Sunday - but what a great work out that was.
Now that I am back in Wisconsin - last night after work and again at 5am this morning I ran 5 miles (each time). I have lifting restrictions until July - so that means only cardio until then, but the doc says lite running (is this lite?). It feels sooooooooooooooooooo good to be active again. Swelling is down, scale is down, itty bitty waist is showin through - life cant get any better than this!
Have I ever told you guys how much I LOVE the endorphins?? Who knows I may yet still be ready for that half marathon in early August.

went back to the gym at 4:30 to meet with the trainer.. he worked arms, abs, and chest. THEN, because I am just really starting to love it .. I took the 45 min spin class. So, that's 75 mins of cardio and about an hour or a bit more of strength training. WOOOO HOOOOOO!!! I'M PUMPED!!!!! (and I need a really good, hot shower!! tee hee)
