I was wondering if you have to change your surgery to a different date can you call Barix and ask for a change in your date for surgery? Do they give you a hard time about it and if you have a different date that you would like to suggest would they see if they have anything open??

I'd say it's worth calling them.  When my surgery was tentatively scheduled, I was trying to juggle a few things at work, including the possibility of having to travel.  They were quite flexible with me and gave me a range of dates to choose from.  I can't imagine it would be that tough.

Good luck!

If its more than a week a way they won't mind cancelling but it may be difficult to get back on the schedule

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I was allowed to pick my surgery date from day one.  Well, I was given what was open when.

I would definately call and ask them.  But make sure you can actually pick a date without just cancelling the first date.  Don't want to not be able to get on it again.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I changed mine when I was a little over a month out. It was no big deal at all.
