Nanette,
You really need to stop wearing that tee shirt with the bullseye on it. You are too much of a target!:) I'm so sorry about your day. It almost couldn't have gotten worse. I hope you feel better soon, and I hope any damage to your car is fixable.

Quite frankly, I'm amazed he didn't kill me.  He was driving an '85 Country Squire (built like a tank).  I am grateful my little car didn't fold up on me.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt bad - maybe the spasms are just from the stress of everything that happened and your body is really tense. Will pray that's all it is - a good massage would help that. Heck, a good massage can never hurt.

Cars can be fixed - and it really sucks that it was your new one, but it sounds like  you have a good attitude about everything, especially considering all the things that could have happened!

Take care - keep us posted on the back and leg spasms.

Kathy

I feel your pain Nan.

Several years back, I had a car that was less than one month old sideswipes and mauled to pieces by a city snow plow. I was devestated.

But, we have insurance for a reason. This too shall pass!

I so know your pain I was just rear-ended on good friday in jersey I drive a 03 Expedition and he was driving a littly hyundai and when I get out of my truck 1/2 of his car was under my suv and he was fighting off his aribag and tried to yell at me in front of the state trooper. He yelled at me and said I thought you were gonna go and I yelled at him don't think its not your strong point and the state trooper tried to keep a straight face as he wrote up the accident report.  I had shoulder sugery feb 19th and all of my theraphy went down the toilet and have to start over again and have another mri hopefully they won't have to re-operate again and my neck hurts from the seatbelt locking up but luckily I had the smarts to always wear mine and Heather is banged up too.  I think yours should be covered under un-insured motorist.  I know its a pain but cars can be fixed or replaced people can't.  Must be a way to get your decuctible back? Your days will get better.

The piestoresistance (sp) - he gave me fake info and the repairs are less than my deductible.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

did you get his license plate? look at his drivers license? or see an ins card? I would have alot to say to that police dept for putting you in that terrible position.  I know that as soon as I had the dispatcher from Jersey as I was talking to them a state trooper showed up before I even hung the phone up and told me that there were at least 10-15 accidents in that location per day and that he may well have just parked his car there waiting for them to happen. What a mess.  Your ins co should cover all of your medical just give them the info and let them contact your doctors offices and give them a claim # and the can be direct billed. Thats what we are doing. Take it easy.
