I start out yesterday by going to the Saturday Support Group - Good experience

Had to cut out early to meet up with people helping me clear out my mom's house and on the way I got rear ended by a drunk driver - Oh crap!!

The other driver demands I call a cop - good

The cops don't come, he leaves - oh crap !!!

I continue on my way and some dufus dropped an aluminum ladder on I-95, I couldn't stop to go around it and had to hit it or be hit - Oh crap!!

I pull over since its now wedged under my brand new Prius!!! My passenger tries to pull it out from under the car and burns her hand - Oh crap!!!

The ladder could not be pulled out, so I proceed slowly down the shoulder of the road hoping it will free itself.  It does.  Oh good!!

Now the task of putting my new baby in the shop and having it fixed.

My bouquet has wilted.  What other way is there to take the joy out of a new car?

I'm going to have to see the doctor, my lower back and legs are having spasms.

My beautiful day was "f'd" up, hope this isn't a sign of what everyday will bring.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Oh Crap is right!  Sorry to hear about the day yesterday - it did start out good and was really great to see you at the support group.  Hope your back is feeling better and your new car gets fixed soon.  Sounds like all of the bad stuff is out of the way - so from here on out - should be better times.

Its people like yourself in my OH family that make me realize time and time again, that everything happens for a reason.  This was my wake up call ... to start living ... before its too late.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

It sort of reminds me of that Robin Williams movie, "The World According to GARP".  Everytime something bad happened in the movie, Robin Williams said "Well now I'm safe from that ever happening again, lightening can't strike the same place twice."

I hope thats true.

No, not every day will be like this, Nan

That's one hell of a day.  I don't know how I would have handled it but it most definately would have included tears somewhere along the road (no pun intended!)

I hope you go the license plate number of the moron who hit you.

I got his info but no insurance info.  My insurance company said, they will try and persue him for insurance but if he doesn't have any, I will be out my deductible ($1000).
