Okay I admit I am the biggest dog lover and know I have lots of company and was wondering from one dog/animal lover since i have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 3 birds and 2 horses how Dillinger is doing? I know I can't be the only one out there who loves their animals and would kill for them so I know I am normal.

Awww Linda,

Thanks soooooo much for thinking of Dillinger!

I am not on OH much these days, but peeked in once yesterday and just now to see this post, I am happy to say that he is doing amazingly well.  Some days it hardly seems as though he has any of what he was diagnosed with, others there is little signs of him slowing down some, but in general he is just one big "lap log" as my friend called him today.  He is more loved and, therefore, more spoiled then ever, but I am sooooo grateful to still have him with me, that there is not too much I won't do for him these days.  I think my being unemployed and home so much of the time has made a world of difference for him, doc said 1 to 3 months, well right now I'm betting he makes it further, but no matter what, I feel blessed that he is here right now!  Again, thanks for your caring heart.

Also glad to hear Dillinger is doing well.   I've been wondering how BOTH of you are doing.   I miss your posts...

I second or third or whatever it is that I'm glad to read the update.  I knew things were going OK as of Mary's bridal shower.....so I'm glad to hear it has continued.

:)

Hugs to you both!

I can tell you that vets don't know everything I had a beautiful english springer spaniel named Silky aka puppy princess and she had breast cancer and lasted 3 years longer and thats not what did the end of her journey. Enjoy every day with each other to the fullest.  Take care and scratch that rottie behind his ears for me.
