Better Late Than Never
I did it...I finally went to the Saturday meeting, late, but got there none the less. I have needed it so much, and always had an appointment on Saturday, but this week, I determined to get there after the appointment.
I am hoping that this little move toward taking care of my post-op mental recovery is a turning point for me. I have been in a terrible place in a lot of ways, and some of you know my story, so you can attest to where I am at. There were brief times when I was ready to just chuck it all and just never come back to OH because of guilt, shame and remorse about a lot of things. But, I am so glad that I decided to go back to the support at Barix and see Shauna and Dennis, and Jan, and God I love you all.
So, it works out that I do NOT have an appointment on the first Saturday in June, so I hope to get there for the whole meeting time then.
