New to PA post

Hi. My name is Devon, and I am going in for surgery on May 12 with Dr. Quinlin! I am so excited I can't stand it. I think I am still waiting for something to go wrong. I love OH, and think that this is a great place to meet and chat. It has really helped me so far. Thanks

Congratulations!!  I also am seeing Dr. quinlin.  Can you tell me when your last weigh in was?
My last weigh is May 18th.  If June Surgery to optimistic?  Also what type of insurance do you have.  I have UPMC.

I also have UPMC insurance and was covered without a problem. They are picky on not gaining weight , a BMI over 40 with a health risk such as sleep apnea, high BP or something like that.

Hi  Devon, Congrats on your surgery date.  I am almost 4 weeks out and had Dr. Courcoulas at McGee. I almost went to Dr. Quinlan but was petrified to drive 28!  It's good to meet some people from western Pa!
