8 Pounds to go!!
HI Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather! For once in my life, I enjoy being warm!!
Well I am so excited, I have 8 pounds to go to reach my first goal of 100 pounds! I cant even imagine it. Its surreal to me to think I have lost 92 pounds since Sept 8th. I've been lucky and havent had a stall this whole time...knock on wood! Of course I'm already getting.."oh you are too skinny now....and oh I am so jealous..etc etc. My one co-worker (who is naturally skinny) said to me...oh if you wiegh less than me now, I will kick your butt" I was like...ummm why is it ok for YOU to be skinny but when I am...its like oh no you dont! Its funny how people react. They are much more comfortable when you are heavier than them! But mostly everyone is very supportive. I am having a ball trying on new clothes of course! My mother and I are going to the Lancaster outlets for Mother's Day so we should do some damage that weekend! woo hoo!
Well, all I can say is that this has been the most amazing experience for me and I am so glad this dream finally came true. Now I just have to make sure I can keep it off for the years to come, that part scares me! Ok everyone have a great day and here's to the weekend getting here quickly!

Congratulations Marlo - you're doing fantastic!! Haven't seen you on the boards for a while so I'm happy to hear you're doing well and feeling good.
Isn't it funny the reactions you get from some people! One of my good friends said the same thing about me not being 'skinnier' than her - even my boss sort of panicked when she realized I was only one pant size away from what she wears - guess that makes them look at themselves more closely or something but I didn't let it bother me - and don't let it bother you - be happy for YOU because you're doing so well, and we all know it takes a lot of hard work, determination and dedication to keep that tool working.
So happy for you!! Congrats again and keep up the great work - make sure you post when you hit that 100 lb mark!
