Ok...I exercised the right to drink beer with a boy last night...so I didn't get to the gym...BUT I am eager to see what everyone else did.

Tonight, I will hit the gym for cardio and lower body weight training.  I will get in my pathetic 5 pound bicep curls just so I am doing something with my arms until my surgeon gives me permission to start upper body weight training again.

what is  your plan for today?

I did 45 minutes on the treadmill, to the tune of 3 uphill miles and 900 calories to the good.

Was it good "beer with a boy?"

LOL - Heather.  I am so glad to hear that the boy and the beer were good.  My "boy" likes his beer... me, not so much - lol.

Today I am running after school.  I sort of hope it is still raining when I go because I have never run in the rain and I need to just in case it rains on the 17th.  I also have Pilates class tonight at the Y.

Have a great day!

going to the gym at lunch time to do cardio and maybe ab work. I need to check out the chart that the trainer filled out last night to see what he wants me to do and when.  Cardio is definitely on the agenda, though.

Did a brisk 1.5 mile walk (no breaks!) this morning and plan to do another one this evening.  That will get me up to 3 miles a day (yay!).  I will also be doing Wii Fit Yoga and some balance and strength training shortly.

The only problem I'm having at this point is that I've got a nasty blister on the ball of my foot.  I put Prep H on it last night and made it through this morning's walk, but it's painful now.  Any advice?

Beer and boys - that can be a very dangerous combination!! You didn't do the bouncing boobie thing for the boy yet , right??  Well, guess that depends on how many beers you had!

Last night I did go to Curves and had a good work-out - still only doing the circuit twice to build up my strength after not working out for a while but trust me, I do come out good and sweaty - and I'm actually almost jogging in place on the springboards - Whoa - talk about bouncing boobies! After that I went home and walked the dog, so I had a good night.

Tonight will be walking the dog then riding my bike - I've been neglecting that and really want to get back on that saddle - I honestly do miss it and my time 'alone' with my tunes and thoughts.

LOL no, i didn't bounce the boobies for him...although they were discussed.  He knew I had surgery recently and about the lifting restrictions...he asked if it was on my shoulders....so, I told him it was a boob job...I certainly wasn't going to lie about it   Later he told me I was the first woman he had ever met that had a boob job...I didn't tell him that he is probably wrong...I am just the first woman that TOLD him about the boob job LOL
