support groups

Anyone know of any support groups in the allentown, bethlehem or Easton PA. area? would like to attend.

There is one at Westfield Hospital in Allentown on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. 

Lehigh Valley Hospital has 4th Wednesday of the month.  6-7:30 pm Here is a link to the support page

The next one for Lehigh Valley Hospital is April 29th. Also, they sometimes change which Wednesday during the month the support groups will be held.

Then there's always Liz's house in Easton - Cooking Class & Support Group - date varies but is posted on OH at least a few weeks in advance.  The next one is 5/16.  She has a post about it on here.  They are always lots of fun!! PLUS, you get great advice from others who have been there!

St Lukes has one, as does LVH (cedar crest) and Easton Hospital.

As Lisa mentioned there is also one at my house in Easton 1 saturday a month - I posted about it yesterday. Here it is copied over

Parking is anywhere on MY yard - meaning the pink garage forward, I have a very crabby neighbor who WILL call the state police! If everyone parks on teh grass facing my garage we can get the most cars in. Thanks!!

Anyway - menu to come but I am thinking SPRING and grilling!!! WE do ask that you bring a staple (plastic silverware, paper plates, case of water, ziplock bags (for taking home goodies!)) or a small donation to help cover costs.

P.S.  Liz's support/cooking class is not a "girly" thing.   There are guys there giving and getting support too, while everyone's munching.   One of our best,  Dennis, DenDen, Papa Belk is a frequent visitor.   It would really help you out to check it out and meet some great people.  Oh, and bring your SO/wife if you have one.  They are welcome to.

Ughh!!!   I WILL get there!  But the drive!!!!   Maybe HG and I can carpool one of these times.  I'll check w/her.
