I realize this is a bit off topic (sorta), but if any of you have any recommendations you'd like to share for oncologists and/or oncological gynecologists, I'd love to have the feedback.  I'm going to my primary today at 2 for recommendations, but also like to have other suggestions and input.  I'd be willing to go to Fox Chase, St. Mary's, Doylestown, whereever...

Please feel free to privately email me (kgoeller at nolimitations dot com) if you'd prefer.

MANY thanks!

I don't know if they have an oncology division but I am sure that they can point you in the right direction. I hope all is well.

Karen,

My recommendation would be to use Fox Chase.  I used them (not for gyno) and loved them.  I just got discharged from there in January (11 years post cancer DX).  Cancer is all they do and their staff is wonderful.  It is easy to get to, parking is free, the campus is small enough that you aren't running all over the place.  Overall a great environment under the cir****tances.  I had a coworker that also used them and I switched to Fox Chase because of her recommendation.  I had used HUP before that and had way too many problems and felt like one in a herd of cattle.

Thank you for the recommendation.  I just got back from my primary and he also had great things to say about them, so we faxed the op report to them and i'm waiting for them to call me with appointment(s).  I was very impressed with their intake process, where they get all the info up front (including tests) and then assess as a team to figure out which doctor(s) you should see.  Seems like it takes some of the guesswork out of it, which is reassuring!

I admire HUP and we've used them as a family a couple of times with serious health issues, but you always do tend to feel like "one of the herd" there.
