My pouch seems to be back to the days when I first got out of surgery...I feel nauseus every time I eat....I can only eat like two bites and then I am blah...do you think it is stress? Or does this happen alot??

Thanks!!
Laura

Stress or the heat! I ate 2 bites of a meat ball last night and thought that I was going to throw up - later I had about 3 bites of yogurt then I was done. My "prissy pouch" as Pam would call it likes ideal conditions to eat! lol

Hope you are feeling better! Try and get in as much fluid and you can and maybe a shake to tide you over.

Liz

PS how is your daughter doing?

I'll trade pouches with you if you want. Mine seems to pretty much like anything I put in it. I'd welcome a nice tight prissy pouch right about now.

Sounds like you've been having a lot of stress (so sorry to hear about all thats going on), so it probably is stress related.      Find a way to unwind-  walk, listen to music, otherwise distract yourself from all the stress in your life right now :)

Right there with you.  Mine seems like a bottomless pit some days.

Like the others said, it sounds like stress is giving you what I call Grouchy Pouch.  When it happens to me, I find it best to stick with small amounts of very soft food, things like ricotta with SF syrup or protein ice cream.

Sorry to hear about what's been going on.  Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Take advantage of this opportunity to stick to the basics.  Before you know it your pouch will want to eat too much.  Just make sure you make your protein goal and liquid goal.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I definately think sticking to the bases would be a fabulous idea.  Maybe even full liquids for a day or so and go from there.

If it's still giving your problems, definately mention it to the doc.

Also..keep track of what, when, why, where, and how fast it is taking you to eat.  Bad habits like doing the wrong "amount, time, etc" sneak up on you when you don't even realize it.
