I HATE to be hot and you have the added excuse of being pregnant! I was up all night sweating my butt off - did NOT get a good night's sleep - and well CHris is like a heat rock - I had to put the ceiling fan on.

It's going to be a long summer. That's OK I suppose - since I hate hate hate hate winter!

Liz,

I have not had as much time to be on the boards lately, but did I read your post correctly?  Are you expecting?  I know you were wanting to start a family but I did not realize that you were.  If so congrats!

it was SO hard not to give in and turn on the AC last night!  We live in a mobile home so it gets VERY hot in here in the afternoons...

My dh worked second shift for years, and I'd always complain that we needed AC.  He said I was being a baby... Well, by the time he got home at 1 am or so sure it cooled off in here enough to not be unbearable!

When he changed shifts and was home in the evenings, he quickly changed his mind!  We got AC that first summer LOL!

Funny you should mention this.  On Saturday I was w/ Brian and we went out in the morning.  I had on a sweatshirt just because it's what I threw on.  Now, I wasn't HOT (although I was warm) but I did comment (as I was in WaWa with everyone who had on shorts and a tshirt/tank top/flip flops that isn't it amazing how I'm wearing a sweatshirt when years ago I would have been in a tank as well.

Yesterday I did turn on the air conditioning during the day for about 3 hours.  Right now they are building new townhomes directly next to my bedroom - so keeping the window open (which would have sufficed) was not an option as I needed to sleep.  I had gone to bed with just the bedroom fan on - but I woke up sweating as it was 82 degrees in my room.

It's WONDERFUL to be able to enjoy the weather :)
