Volunteer day plus going to my first meeting, plus dance class tonight. Very very busy but good day! Did some yard work yesterday which put my legs to cramping all night, not fun.

Sitting here in my room with all the windows in the apartment open wide!! AHHHHH.... the birds are chirping outside my window and it almost makes having to work not so bad..almost. It would be better if I was outside enjoying it, but I'll take what I can get.

Good Morning all..........
Firstly...WHERE IS MY SPRING? I want to know what happened to spring this year? 90's already? I am not ready for that yet! LOL
Today has me at home, doing a few odds and ends around the house. Then Jantzen has his first doc appt this afternoon. So we will see if he gained enough to be in a regular car seat or if he still has to stay in the "car bed" we are using now. I hate the car bed so I am hoping he beefed up enough that the doc lets us stop using it. We will see.
This evening will be just grilling and hanging out at home. Hoping to have a nice relaxing evening.

WE were commenting on going from "winter to summer" at work last night. However...I seem to remember almost every year in April having a week or two of a heat wave and then we go back to spring.
Hopefully that will stay the same this year and we'll get some decent spring weather out of this season!

Good morning everyone - I had a busy, wonderful weekend with my BFF from high school - she drove up from DC Friday night - Saturday morning we went to Curves together, then home to clean up and head out for shopping - we certainly tried to do our fair share to stimulate the economy!! She loves The Christmas Tree Shoppe and there's one right around the corner from my house - 2 and a half hours in that store! Then onto Old Navy where she talked me into some new styles of clothing for my 'new' body, and then to HomeGoods/Marshalls. It was a full day - got home, unloaded all my stuff, reloaded her stuff into her car and mine, put the tops down (we both have convertibles) and headed on back down to her place.
Yesterday we went to see Menopause the Musical with about 20 women from her work - OMG it was the funniest show I have ever seen - if you are close to that age it is a must-see!! I haven't laughed that hard in years. After the show 6 of us trekked about 7 blocks in downtown Bethesda to a Mexican restaurant for dinner, and the beautiful part was I was not sweating or out of breath from the walk or the heat, so that was awesome. Got back to her house, packed my car, and headed on back up the road. Busy weekend, but awesome.
Today I'm back at work sucking up their A/C - but honestly the heat hasn't bothered me one bit yet - amazing. Tonight mom wants to go out to the store and I do have some things to return from Saturday's trip, so that'll be my night tonight.

Not too much planned today. I am home from my mommycation in Boston and back to reality. It was a great trip but a challenge to make sure that I ate the proper foods while I was away, three meals a day out was not easy.Of course, getting protein in first was my priority....and I ate A LOT of scrambled eggs.!! I did go out for seafood one night and had the best scallops...YUM!!
My daughter woke up this morning with pink eye so she is home with me today. I have to go over to Costco and pick up a few things but other than that nothing special.
I am really looking forward to Barix this weekend. My weight loss ha**** a stall....I know it is normal....I have read so many posts about the week 3-5 week weight loss......of course, in the beginning when reading them, I was like...ok, no big deal....but when it is YOU that is going through it it's a little harder to swallow. I know it will pass and I just need to keep doing what I am doing.
Ok, enough ranting.
I hope everyone has a great day today. Enjoy the heat.....if that is your thing....me, I would love to live somewhere that is 65degrees most of the year. Although we just moved back to this area from Raleigh in Janurary so this 90 degrees feels nothing like the South.

Good morning! Nothing exciting on the agenda today. I am going to take a quick trip to wawa soon to pick up the paper to get the article on the Bark for Life. I hear from a coworker that his picture made it in the paper, but not on their website.
I started my day with cleaning up Molly and the bathroom floor. About a year ago she started having problems with peeing in her sleep....getting old sucks!! It rarely happens, but thankfully, when it does it is usually when she is sleeping on the bathroom floor and NOT in bed with me...although that did happen once. She was dripping wet when she stood up. I think there was more on her fur than on the floor. I feel so bad for her because I know when she realizes what happened, she feels bad so I keep telling her she is a good girl, but it makes me want to cry because she is getting old....i promised her we would keep it a secret, but as soon as Tucker greeted her this morning his nose went right up her crotch....damn boys LOL. The thing I don't understand is why it doesn't have a scent or color...its like it is jus****er. OK, enough about old dog incontinence LOL
After work, I am off to get my allergy shots, which I am still getting in my thighs because of my arm surgery...I hate getting shots in my thighs!!! After that, it is home for something healthy for dinner and then off to the gym. I really need to start working my lower body more. I can't get pants that fit right because if the fit in the thighs, they are about 3 sizes too big in the waist....if they fit in the waist, then they are too tight in the thighs and that is IF i can get them over my thighs. Old Navy had capris on sale for $15.00 bucks so I bought two pairs, but need to lose a bit in my thighs for them to look right. grrrrr......
