SIZE WHAT?!?!?
So, I'm going out to karaoke tomorrow night and realized that I don't have anything cute to wear. So, we hit the Fashion Bug and the mall and I decided that if I could find something that wasn't too expensive that I would pick something up.
Well, at Fashion Bug, I found a really cute shirt. It is an XL. OKAY so that is so COOL and I am excited. I pulled it off the misses rack, NOT the plus rack! Then, we went to the mall to JCPenney and I decided that I wasn't even going to go to the women's depts, I would just go right over to the misses section. I wanted a pair of capris to go with the shirt. I pulled an 18 off the rack thinking that the jeans fit, so these should. WELL, they were too big! WHAT!?!??!? I haven't even lost that much weight yet, but I guess the ab/oblique work I am doing is really paying off. So, I went back and found a 16 in the same exact capri and they are too small..WTF.. here we go with not having a size. Then, I tried a different pair of capris in a 16 and HOLY CRAP. They freakin' fit!!!! I took pics of myself in the mirror in the fitting room and then when I got home put on the entire outfit.
I spent a little bit more than I wanted on them, but they were on sale and I should get a few uses out of them. Then, I'll sell them at the yard sale as barely been worn and try to charge almost full price for them. Maybe I'll leave the tags on them and just tuck them in when I wear them so the person who buys them sees what the regular price was on them.. HEE HEE!!
EDITED TO INCLUDE: side note.. going into the stores, I was wearing a 3x shirt and size 22 drawstring pants that I couldn't get tight enough. LOL!
Here's the pics!!!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
