Friday Roll Call

Congrats on feeling "set"!!!  OH and my assistant won't have to work today because I wasn't there to give him a list - he'll have to listen to the other moron that I work with so they will BS all day and get hardly anything done! Oh well I am not worrying about it and enjoying my day at home as much as I can!

Hi Everyone!  So glad its friday!!
I am having a rough week-  I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday 4/28 but this week have been sick with a major sinus/throat/respiratory thing.   I have had 3 prior sinus surgeries and more than my share of sinus infections, so I know the routine and I know when it gets really bad I need to be on prednisone if no response to antibiotics and irrigation in 3 days.  

So all week I tried to make it without prednisone, but progressively got worse, not better, and finally had to start predinsone last night.  (30mg/day x 3 days, then 20mg/day x 3 days, then 10mg/day x 3 days, then 10mg every other day for a week). 
 
I seriously couldn't see straight last night from all the sinus pressure/pain and it was getting worse since it all started on Sunday.  

I am so annoyed at the timing.   I called my surgeon's office today and am waiting to hear back...

I caanot wait for the wonderful weather. Im working today, then off till monday afternoon. 
Tonight im hanging out with the kids. My sinuses feel like there about to go crazy at any given moment!! Hubby is working till about 7 pm.

Sat. We ar busy busy busy!! Kids have a party, there pop is taking them. Mom and I have a Bridal shower for my cousin. Hubby is working. After parties I may venture and take the kids fishing myself! Dinner will light as it will be super hot!!1

Sunday we are going with friends to Knoebels Grove for the day!! Cant wait to ride the rides!!!

Today is my first full day home from the hospital.  Sip, sip sip, all day long.  I had my first bowel mvmt today too so that's one less thing to worry about.  The local pharmacy screwed up on some of my pills so DH just ran out a second time today to pick them up.  I need to get up and go get me some protein stuff to drink...hmm decisions decisions....isopure or CIB.  I had an unjury vanilla shake this morning...wasn't too bad...took me two hours to drink it all.

Now if this headache would just go AWAY I'd be much better.  The lortab elixir isn't helping it at all!
