Just Wondering..

Why is it that I am having tons of stomach issues lately. I have been getting a lot of stomach bugs lately which I never did before also why is it that at some times I can eat certain foods and at other times that same foods make my stomach heave and I feel like I get the foamies and am having a heart attack. Just wondering if it's just me or is anybody else having the same issues. Just making sure that the further out I am if these issues will get better or this will never stop. I know I am feeling sorry for myself but I feel like this is something I struggle with every single day. Sorry to keep rambling.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Shilpa -

It may not necessarily be WHAT you are eating - but HOW you are eating.  I know if I eat too fast or not chew enough or put too much time in between meals / snacks - I dont feel so well  - alot like you are describing.

Just a thought.

The food issue happens to me - but not like on a daily basis or anything.  When it does happen I call it "prissy pouch" cause like  a little priss she will tolerate one food one day and then decide the next day she doesn't like it.

Most of the time, I have narrowed it down to me eating to fast or to frequently - but there are days when I "play by the rules" and it still happens.

As far as the stomach but thing I can tell you that this year has been a banner year for nasty nasty flu like bugs (stomach in nature) which many people can't get away from.  You are not the only one.  Most of the patients I have treated have had this or some form of it.

Feel better.  If it continues...you may want to get everything looked at just in case.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Shilpa - It has been a hard year on pouchies!! Stomach bugs bound!

I find if I eat yogurt with active cultures I feel much better! It helps to put the beneficial bacteria back in your intestines after a run with diarreah or antibiotics!

Hope you feel better soon! If you don't talk to the Dr for sure.

Liz
