SAD NEWS

Hello,

The past month has been a very difficult one for me.  But the hardest thing that I had to do was put down my beloved Ralphie (picture on avator).  Ralph was my best friend and had been with me since he was 5 weeks old.  He was 15 when he closed his eyes.  It was one of the saddest days of my life.  He went very peacefully.  I know that he and his kitty cat sister, Maggie are waiting on the Rainbow Bridge for me.

Thanks for listening.

Jeanne - So sorry to hear about Ralphie!!! Maybe he is up playing with our pup Cheyenne until you can join him! We lost her about 6 years ago to cancer.

*hugs* I know nothing can be said that makes this easier but I've been there!

Jeanne,

I am so sorry!  the thing that makes me saddest is thinking about the day I will eventually lose one of mine.  15 is a long life for a dog and I am sure his was filled with happiness!

I can only imagine how sad you are right now at losing your beloved pet - when we lost our Bruno in October 2007 it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, but I held him as he closed his eyes for the last time - I had to be there. We have a new hairy 'child' in the family now, Jude - it took a while to bring a new one home but eventually we all realized how lonely we were without one. They give so much love and trust and ask for so little in return.

Ralphie will live on in your heart forever - thankfully that's one thing that can't be taken away from us.

Take care...Kathy

That is heartbreaking.  I've been there, so I know how you are feeling.

God Speed Ralphie!

I am sorry about your loss.  I have had to put down a couple of my "furbabies" It is very hard. But I don't want to make them suffer just because I don't want to let them go. Around Christmass I thought I was going to have to put down my dog Duncan. He was walking around with his head to the side and walking into walls. I thought he had a stroke. I didn't want to put him down during the holidays so I held off. I'm glad I did because he is his old self now. I don't want to lose him but if it's him suffering or putting him to sleep I would keep him from suffering.
Sending you huggs..
Sandy
