Looking for Support Groups...

 A warm thank you to everyone who has responded.  It's nice to know there is real "community" out there.  I look forward to meeting many of you.

Zook, If you live in Wayne, you are a stone's throw from Phoenixville. We have a support group  at 7 pm the first Wed. of each month in the phoenixville hospital cafeteria. This is on rt 23, ( nutt RD ) in phoenixville, just 3 miles west of valley forge park. Everyone is welcome, I don't care where you had your surgery, what kind, or by who. Bring along a friend/support person/family/or anyone who might be interested. By the way, the bridge on rt.252 over the turnpike into the park is presently closed due to construction. I hope to see you on May 6th.

So great to see so many support groups out there!!!   I wasn't thrilled with the one at HUP either, and the one at Pennsylvania Hosp is the last tuesday of the month (which is the day I am getting my surgery- so can't attend that one!)

 Welcome and good luck to you!  Please touch base after the big day and let us know how you're doing!  BTW...where are you having your surgery?
