5- Day Pouch Test Day 1
Ok, here I go. I'm starting the 5 day pouch test today. I need to refocus AGAIN and detox from my Carb addiction.
Fortunately for me, it's going to be cold and rainy for the next couple of days so soup is the perfect meal. i got a ton of them.
One thing I did that i'm not sure is ok, I got some chunky soups that i'm going to blend. Is that allowed?

lol well - I can't do 2 days of full liquids - last time I did my body revolted - so I am going to do a shake for breakfast, yogurt and fruit for snack, salad for lunch, jello for snack and a protein shake for dinner. I am hoping that helps break this carb cycle! It is sucking me in big time!!! If I can't do another shake at dinner I will do meat and veggie only!!
LOL! As I was reading, I was thinking, that doesnt' sound anything like the pouch test. HA HA HA. I think I made a little mistake in my soup choices at the grocery store this morning. I got chicken noodle ( which i can take the noodles out of and then blend) AND clam chowder which I was thinking I could just blend but it has potatoes total carbs right there. Obviously I didn't quite get the idea behind the pouch test HA HA HA. I got lental and split pea soup as well since they are high protein soups, but I don't have a blender here so I have to eat them as is.
I ate the lentil soup for a late snack/early lunch and I was thinking I'd have another bowl for a late lunch, but I don't want that. I think I'll have a Cappiccino Protein Shake. Then Cream of broccoli soup for late a late snack. and then I might have to do the lentil again for dinner.
I'll be better prepared tomorrow with pre-blended preparations .

So I'm late on posting..but wanted to offer some support. I've been there done that with the pouch test and although it works in helping to reset your brain (a little) it's pure hell on some days!
While you are doing this - get all the carb crap out of your house and don't bring it back in.
I need to do that too (throw it out I mean), by the way.

I had to start over. I started a part time job yesterday and I just wasn't prepared. I mean over all it was a good start, but I really just didn't have all of my ducks in a row.
So here we go again today.
Breakfast - Coffee <- I know that's not really food but there is milk in it.
Morning Snack(10AM) - Cottage cheese
Lunch (12 PM)- Lentil Soup
Afternoon snack (2PM)- Yogurt
Late Afternoon Snack ( 4PM) - Cream of Broccoli Soup
Dinner (8 PM)- Chicken noodle soup (with the noodles plucked out)
So here we go again today.
