Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning all..........
It looks so dreary out. But I get to go home today, so that cheers up my day a little. I am happy to go home but concerned about getting in and out of bed. the pain from the Tubal is still pretty bad. In fact I didn't expect this at all. I am barely walking on my own, and still on pain meds. So we will see how I feel as the day goes.
So Jantzen failed the carseat test they performed. Since he was 37 weeks and small, they had to do a test where they place him in the carseat for an hour, then check his oxygen saturation. If it goes below 88 at any point, he doesn't pass. They did they test twice, and he didn't pass so we must use a "carbed" that is specially made for preemies and small babies.
It's not the end of the world, but just unexpected. And the hospital provides the bed. Thank goodness because I googled them out of curiosity and they are 100 bucks and you only need them a week or two.
So anyways, we are heading home today, and that will be our excitement.........

It IS dreary and yucky out, isn't it?
After I'm done here I'm gonna run to the paint store. We never painted the living room/hallway etc and have plans to - just not sure when. It will definately be a few weeks from now - however - we've been using the Sherwin Williams paint - and it's on sale to tune of 30% off - so I'm running over there to buy the paint so we have it when we're ready.
Once home, I am putting a tray of chicken parm together to have on hand. I also need to do at least one load of laundry so I have something to wear to work, LOL
Other than that - same mundane stuff for me. Back to work for me tonight. Unfortunately, due to the days I needed off in the next couple of weeks and this past week, between the two jobs it puts me on for 9 days in a row. But that's ok....as I had off 3 before hand I will have off a good couple of days off in a row shortly after that stint.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
Yea...it is crazy. I normally don't do that to myself - but in order to get my weekend days in at the other job and the way LVH had me scheduled, it didn't leave much of a choice.
However...Brian is going to his parents house for at least a week starting on Friday - so I will have the house to myself most of the time. Which means I don't have to worry about cooking for him or anything like that. So most of my days will consist of maybe a load of laundry to catch up with that, sleeping, and some good "girly" shows on tv. Although I will miss him, it will probably be nice!

Ok, so I know that April showers bring May flowers, but they also make Lisa a bit on the grumpy side.
Today has me working my normal 7-3:30. Siehara is going home from school with a friend because I have a jam packed evening filled with things at which she would be incredibly bored.
First, I have an appt for a consult with a new psychologist for her. We really need to get her Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) under control because I am about ready to throw her through a wall some days. I feel so bad that she is going through this and feel helpless because nothing is working. The pediatrician doesn't think that adjusting her ADHD meds is going to do anything to help with the ODD part of it. BUT, she told me to talk to the psych today and see how she is in school and then we can all make a decision together.
After the appt, I am going to go to the gym for a bit. I wanted to go to a beginner spin class tonight, but the timing just doesn't work because it is from 6-6:45 and there is a support group at the hospital starting at 6:45. SO, I'll just go and do my thing on the treadmill and/or arc trainer and do some ab and arm work.
After gym is said support group until about 8:30 and then I will pick Siehara up from her friend's house and come home and crash.

Good morning everyone - I'm at work - quiet again today since about 1/2 the office is out traveling right now. Works for me. I'm having a homemade sugar free vanilla iced coffee and reading the boards and checking out e-mail and stuff like that.
Went to Curves yesterday afternoon since I had to leave work early for a dr's appt - I do like going there - still only doing the circuit twice until I get used to it and all, but the owner is very friendly and helpful so I think I'll like it.
Other than that not much going on in my little world...have a great day everyone.
