Crossing my legs

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted in a while.  I have been busy recuperating and getting back into the swing of work.  Work is oh so much fun...

I am saddened by the fact that I can't come to the Barix Post Op meeting tomorrow night.  Last month it was a little too close to my surgery and tomorrow is my sister's birthday.  She may just shoot me if I don't go to her house and celebrate with her.  Don't worry, all celebrations will be WLS diet approved.  I am very strict about that.

Anyway, I don't know that I would call this a Wow moment, but I have been pretty excited about something lately.  I have always been able to cross my legs, but recenlty when I cross them it just seems to fit and feel so much better.  I know the men probably won't get this, but all of you women know what I mean, right?

Thanks for listening and always being so supportive.  I lurk on the site a lot and have gained a lot of great information (and recipes, woohoo!).

Personally, that was a biggie for me........FINALLY crossing my legs. I was overweight my whole life so I never remember being able to do that so when I finally did, I think I did cry. LOL

So yeah, thats a wow.

Congrats to you!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

THat is a great one!! I was always able to cross them for oh maybe 10 seconds and it would be uncomfortable - now I find it actually helps my back feel better if it is out of sorts!

Congrats!

That was a huge one for me. Even bigger to be able to do it under the table LOL.
I know what you mean they just kind of fit together, in a nice, non stressful way.
Good for you

Crossing legs is HUGE, especially if you haven't crossed them in over 30 years!  Congrats, and much continued success!

I was able to cross my legs pretty early!!  I've been doing it ever since!!!  It is amazing.  I use to have hold my leg over!!  Now I can tuck my foot behind my calf and then tuck my legs under my chair even!!!  I can get my legs in a pretty good pretzel!!

There are never any problems, only solutions.  quoted by a dear and special friend!!!

My stats:
Starting weight 234 lbs    Height 5 ft 6 in
Goal in 7 months (127 lbs)
Currently: 120-123 lbs
Tops Small   Bottoms size 2!!!!

Omg! I am so glad you posted this because crossing my legs has been on my mind forefront since surgery. I cant wait untill the day comes where i can really be a "woman" and feel like one. I have been so fat and my thighs are so huge i could never cross my legs but that day is coming soon!!!

....well, I can now sort of cross my legs.  So this dude "get's this".  GOOD FOR YOU!!

As a side note, I noticed both my C.E.O. and C.O.O. doing it at a company event (on stage in front of thousands) so I guess it's OK :)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
