Jodi is in the hospital (JoJoBear)

Hey all!  There were a few posts on facebook and also on OH website under the pregnancy forum.  So I'm assuming it's ok for it to be posted here.

JoJo (mother to be of Jantzen) posted an update.  The earlier story was that they kept her overnight due to high blood pressure and then were definately going to induce her this morning.  However - here is the latest update from her!

Hey there, it's me!

I got sent to Labor/delivery from my OB appointment last evening. My BP was elevated, and it was high last week and at both NST's this past week.

So I got over here, got put on the monitor, had some labs drawn and stayed the night. Over the night BP was great. So OB on call this morning says, she thinks that being in bed helps BP, I am feeling good, BP is good, I am close to due date and am 3 cm dilated. So I said OK, that is fine.

Next OB comes in cause it's change over time, and has now decided that he doesn't want me on Oxytocin, and takes me off it. He says the since I technically have 2 different due dates, the one due date makes me less along and if that would be more accurate, then he feels it's too early to induce me on purpose.

He says since I am 3 cm, having contractions on my own, he wants me to just chill here today and let nature take it's course. So I may or may not be having a baby today!

Contractions are about 5-7 minutes apart. They are quite strong. I have some pain meds to help tolerate them and will get an epidural when and if needed.

So that's my update. Thank goodness for my laptop and wireless technology. Or I'd be bored out of my mind. Daytime TV sucks! LOL

Hi there. And thanks Pam, of course it was OK to post. I have an angel for the Preggo board but of course no one to update here. Thanks so the well wishes.

I am still in the hospital. Bored out of our freaking minds. LOL. so far, I am 3 cm dilated. The doc should be in within the hour to check me again. From there we should decided if I will go home to wait or stay here.

Johnny and I are hanging in there other than we are just sick of waiting and being stuck in this room. LOL

Hi Jo!  I'm glad you didn't mind me opening my big ol mouth here on the pa forum!  I didn't think you would considering your other post on PG and facebook, but still.....

Anyway - sorry you are bored and cooped up in the room!  I hope things progress nicely and if they don't quite yet, I hope you at least get to be in the comfort of your own home!
