Ok see...I finally remembered Mary and Norm's Wedding Wednesday whoo hoo!!!!  Have fun planning all!!

Today I have nothing exciting going on.  I straightened my hair last night with the blow dryer and it turned out REALLY good so I will be careful to not disrupt that, such the girly girl I am!

Anyway...today's agenda is to make something for dinner....watch some tv....and hang with hubby.  Nothing terribly exciting.  If I am up to it I may clean out my car....but only if I feel like it.  I have a feeling it might be to cold out there

Enjoy!

Pam

Thank you for your words of encouragement Sunday!

Today is another volunteer day.  My hubby went and bought some stuff on line and didn't tell me grrrr.  A check I thought I stopped payment on, went through. So my finances had a few rough moments.

I wish I could say my life is 100% awesome, but whose is.I got yelled at by my dance teacher.  She is thinking I am stealing dance steps from her teacher so I have to convince her I'm not.  It's amazing how people think the worse of you sometimes.  But that is our society these days.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Hooray!

Tonight is a very big Wedding Wednesday. We're finishing up the invitations and dropping them in the mail tomorrow. Did some stamping and finishied up the printing last night, now it's just the stuffing and the licking. /that's what she said/

I asked Mary if we could watch a movie we both like while we're doing it, which will make the movie even more special to both of us,

I am in work early today to deal with a lunchtime deadline, then will make a rare aftet-work gym stop this afternoon.

Coffee's brewing, and I'm ready to go.

Today is the first day of Siehara's LOOONNNNNG break from school.  Since she goes to a Jewish Day School, they close for the Passover holiday in order to avoid all the intense cleaning.  Of course, most kids would take advantage of the fact that there was no school and sleep in.  Not my child.. she's up and laying in my bed watching TV while I sit here getting ready to work and checking the boards.

Coffee's brewing and I think I'm going to need it today.  I work from 7-3:30 and at some point during the day, Siehara's friend is coming over for a play date.  Her mom is going to drop her off around 10, I think.  It won't be bad because it will keep Siehara occupied and out of my hair.  I will then bring her home when I am done working.  At some point, I need to jump in the shower, too.  Tonight, we are going to a friend's house for the first night seder for Passover.  I think I'm glad I can't eat carbs this year because it will make Passover that much easier to tolerate.

That's it for me.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning all -
At work today, my boss is out, so things should be busy for me today.

And..... I just found out last night that I don't have to work at my part-time job until next Wednesday. WOO HOO !   I've been working part-time for the last 3+ years to pay off some debt that I took with me when I ended my last relationship and I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as far as getting the bills paid off.  My plan is to quit part-time work by the end of this year and since I got a decent raise at my full-time work, it's making it easier to not be too worried about missing hours at the Dr.'s office.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning all - at work today feeling pretty good. Getting ready for sister's visit and mom returning to the nest. My sister and I weren't going to exchange birthday presents any longer but when she found out that one of our best friends and I were she said she wanted to as well - okay - I'm cool with that but her b'day was April 2 and all I sent her was this little doggie picture frame, so last night I was out hustling to find some things for her. Have a few more items to pick up for the long weekend - it'll be a busy one with company coming Friday night and Saturday night - Easter Sunday should actually be quiet.

Had my annual ob-gyn (sorry guys) appt last night and my doctor was thrilled to see so much less of me, and I must admit that the whole exam process was much, much easier without all that excess weight bogging me down. Everything is fine and she is thrilled for me - especially being off the asthma and cholesterol meds.

Other than that not much new going on with me - wish I had something as exciting as Wedding Wednesday to look forward to! My 20th wedding anniversary is this year - man, doesn't seem that long ago...

Good morning!  Today is Tuckers 6th birthday, so we will have special doggie treats tonight at home to celebrate!  I would take him to McDonalds for a cheeseburger, but I still can't take him on a leash, and he gets SO excited when he knows we are going out...so I may just get him one and bring it home.  No, I don't spoil my dogs.....

That's about the extent of my day LOL  Work and dog birthday....I may even hit the gym to ride on the bike for a while.

GM everyone -

Day 5 of recovery and all seems to be ok.  I was doing really well yesterday, but today just feel like I have been hit by a truck.  Doc and others prepared me for this - so its really no surprise. Swelling seems to have increased quite a bit over night - but the soreness of the incisions arent as bad - its more heavy muscle aches - everywhere.   Fortunately for me everyone had someplace to go this morning so I can sleep all day long in peace.  This is all I have planned for the entire day!

Tomorrow I head back to the poconos to get my drains out and my bandages off.  I will get to see the first unveiling of my new tummy, back, belly button, etc.... I was excited to learn yesterday while on the phone with the PA that Dr. Herman used the dermabond all the way around me - not just in the front.  That can only mean less scaring - which is very exciting.  I will post after I get back from the doc tomorrow - but my mission today...REST!
