Good morning everyone !
Bright and sunny today, but COLD...what is up with that????  I really need some warm weather.

Same old, same old here today.  Work today and then work tonight at the Dr.'s office.  Looking forward to the end of the week.  I work for the government full-time, so we have off for Good Friday and I took off from the Dr.'s office on Saturday.  THREE WHOLE DAYS of NO WORK...Woo Hoo !!!!

Hope everyone has a super day !

Hey everyone.  I haven't been around much and haven't been able to keep up on all that has been going on.  I hope everyone has been well!

Nic...congrats on the job offer!  I am sure you will make the right decission for you.  Also, its good to see your niece is getting the help she needs.

Not much going on here.  Still recovering from plastics.  In some ways they were such easy procdeedures, but in other ways it has been tough.  I would much rather deal with pain than with the raw sensitivity I have been experiencing.  It does get better every day, but its been a long 2 1/2 weeks.  Saturday, I ended up overdoing things and my left implant popped back out and up under my armpit.....it was the weirdest feeling! I had to take a step back and stop doing so much so that it can resettle into the pocket again.  I was expecting myself to get back to normal too quickly and that was not a smart thing to do.

Well, I want to skim through the recent posts to try and catch up a bit and then I need to get back to work!

Have a good one!

Yeah...it is a strange thing....right after surgery when they were both under my arm pits, I looked and walked like a line backer LOL  Too bad I couldnt make those armpit fart noises with them LOL

Heather now that is crazy I have never heard of that. I did not have implants so I did not have that experience. You are so calm about it. I would have had a fit. As far as the recovery it was so much more emotionally and physically trying than I ever imagined. The depression, the lack of independence, the swelling. Sometimes I just felt like I wanted to take a break from my body for a bit. I went through an itching spell that made me almost psychotic. I felt bad for jason. Just try and take your time, baby  the heck out of yourself.

I almost never whine about things, so I am feeling like a big baby over all of this.  I expected to bounce (no pun intended) right back a few days after surgery...I swear i recovered faster after the WLS.  It gets better every day, so at least there is progress.   It is more of an annoyance than anything....certainly not painful....just sensitive.  I think the sensitivity is far worse than any pain.

Yep...implants in the armpits.  It was quite a sight to see LOL
