Tuesday Roll Call

Hey yal. I am home from work and watching a bit of tv before bed.

I have my class today and then some errands to run and then back to work.
I was offered a day shift position at work as a clinical care manager and i am trying to decide what to do. It would be nice to have day hrs so I can see jason,. but it is a very very stressful type of job. I have to decide soon.

Update on my niece. she is staying with my mom until her evaluation at Duke on Thursday. If she finds that she is ok she will start the tx for her OCD at Duke soon to the tune of 1,000 dollars per week. We are scrambling as a family to come up with some cash to get her started. It is hard to believe that OCD tx is so hard to come by, and is so expensive without insurance coverage.

Congrats on the job offer - I'm sure you would be phenomenal as a manager!  How would that affect you seeing your personal clients?  And the stress factor - you would obviously need to find a way to be able to cope with that stress.  Hopefully being able to see Jason would help with coping!!

Sunday and Monday was a pretty decent, destressing type of days for us.  Sunday Brian wasn't home but I got some organization stuff done which was looming over us for quite some time and yesterday we finally got our taxes done which took a huge chunk of stress off of us.  And we are getting a hefty size refund to boot which is also cool :)  There suddenly seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.  It's dim right now but hell, at least its there!

Anyway - today isn't anything to exciting for me.  On the way home I may stop at the grocery store for a very quick few items I'd like to have in the house. Then it will be home to take a shower and crawl into bed with Brian for a little cuddle time :)  I know, sickening isn't it? 

Then it's back to work tonight for me, whoopppeee doo!

Good morning all.

I am feeling rough but hanging in there. I am in the home stretch and it's making for quite a miserable nights sleep and alot of exhaustion. But that's how it goes.

Today I work from 8-4:oo. then I will go to my OB appt, then home. Well make dinner, although I have no idea what yet, and catch up on some wash that I didn't feel like doing. That's it, nothing exciting.

Hope everyone stays warm, it's supposed to be cold today!

Morning Jodi.. I commented on facebook, but will do it here too just in case.  If you are going to your OB tonight, can't you do a LOT of complaining and try to get out of work early on short term disability? I left about 2 weeks before my due date because I was having a lot of back issues.  Then, my maternity started after I gave birth.  It's worth a try if disability is an option where you work.

It's Tuesday.. right? Day 3 in my new apartment and I actually got a LOT of unpacking done!  In my living room, there are 2 boxes of movies and a big box of who knows what.  The only reason the movies are still in boxes is because I have to get a new entertainment center.  I left the old one for DH.  Dining room is clear of boxes.  Siehara has 2 boxes in her room that need to be gone through and I have a few left in my bedroom.  I think I did pretty darn good at getting so much done.  AND, it was a hell of a workout with all the back and forth and bending and lifting and such.    Then, there's the pictures that need to go up on the walls once I figure out where to put them.

On a different note,  I was looking for a shirt to wear today and pulled out the shirt I tie-dyed at a birthday party with Siehara.  It is an XL.  I looked at it, held it up and said no way is this going to fit, yet.  BUT, I put it on and what the hell?!?!  It freakin' fits!!!!  and the scale this morning (au natural) said 202!   I am almost in onederland!! 

That completely made my morning!!!!! 

All this excitement and I forgot to post the day's activities.. good thing there's nothing going on except work from 7-3:30, once I get Siehara off to school.  Tonight, we are probably going to go over to our friends' house to get their kids out of the way so they can clean their house for Passover.

Nicole - I am with Pam, you would make a fantastic manager but totally understand not wanting to take on the stress, that can be hard no matter what! Good news on your neice too - I hope that you guys are able to get the funds to get her the help she needs - isn't there any government funding etc? Or can she be put on disability - not sure what the state rules are for NC.

Today I am at wor****il 4 - still hurting from all my yard work over the weekend and my allergies are in full swing - bed sounds marvelous! After work I need to stop at Lowes and get a few things then home to clean and make dinner - have to get ready for a busy weekend!

Thank God they changed their mind about the snow! I can't handle any more winter!!!

Good morning everyone - I'm back at work today after staying home yesterday nursing a nasty headache that started at my left ear and traveled up over my left eye - it was so bad it was making me nauseaus most of the day but it finally subsided. This afternoon I have a dr's appt with my ob-gyn but I'm going to ask her to check my ear to make sure I'm not getting an infection or anything.

So at work today - getting mentally prepared to have my mom home again - my sister and b-i-l are driving her up from Florida - leaving tomorrow and they'll be here Thursday. I know she's anxious to get home and we miss her but I must say its been nice having my husband and my house to myself for these past few months. I'll be married 20 years this year and my mom has been with us 18, so we never really had much of a 'married couples' life.

Other than that not much going on...hope everyone has a great day.

well iam heading to work had off yesterday so i dont want to move today,thought i was going ot have off casue one of the boys doesnt feel well but iam going in till 7pm after that nothnig exciting home to go to bed to get up tomorrow and run errands casue iam off again tomorrow.

AAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!!!!  Finally got my car but it kept me up all night with its stupid alarm going off!!  I finally had to unlock it so it wouldn't keep going off.  I guess it was the wind!

So, I am grumpy today.  Need to get bills paid.  That's my goal!

Good Tuesday morning everyone!!

Well, today it's been basically getting up to get kids off to school.  I now have my nephew living with me...so instead of one lunch to make, I have to make two!!  Not a big deal...it's kinda nice taking care of another person.  Well, two, actually with my BIL.  Definitely a full house around here!!

Soon it will be time to take Connor to school.  Then I will come back home and head straight to my office to work, work, work.  It's that time again to turn all my jobs in to get paid.

Tonight Connor has baseball practice...don't think I'm going, because I would probably freeze my arse off.  So it's Garry's turn tonight to take him so I can stay home nice and warm. 

For dinner I'm going to make Liz's parmesan chicken tenders.  Oh, yummy!!!  I made them before and the whole family went CRAZY over them!!  Thanks, Liz!!!
