My Period ( guys you may not want to listen)
OK, so I had my little friend last week and I couldn't stop eating in general let alone limiting the carbs and stuff like that. I feel like such a fat slob right now. <-- I'll work that out this week
The reason that i'm mentioning this is because I was SOOOOO irritable last week I couldn't even function, EVERYTHING and EVERYONE made me so upset and mad I couldn't even think straight. My period is over now and I'm still irritable and angry. What do I do? I'm not back to my normal self ( which isn't great either, but better than this LOL)
How does one get their estrogen levels back on track after your period? I'm completely out of wack and I can't find my equilibrium.

Oh Sweetie its okay. I have literally gained 5lbs overnite and my period ended a week ago. I refuse to be chained to my scale. I say that but don't mean it. LOL. But getting back to you mood swings this is just temporary maybe you need to do some Yoga or relaxation exercises to reset your mindset hey you never know it works for me and I should know I am a busy full-time working mom with 2 kids.
Whatever it is don't beat yourself up too much about getting off the wagon. Dust yourself and get back on track. You can do it! and remember I am always here and only a phone call away. Take Care. ((HUGS))

Ok. The carbs gotta go. Period. (no pun intended) The increase in carbs is creating the mood swings. Sugars are creating extra hormones on top of the usual, digestive cells are holding water in response to the sugars, pancreas and liver can't process enough insulin to combat the usual period hormones and you are adding to it with the carbs you are eating! leaving an excess of hormones and water in your system making you moody. Get rid of the carbs, the water will release, the hormones will level out, the pancreas and liver will not be overwhelmed. BTW, if you don't get it under control NOW, next month will be worse because it just builds and builds as we age....I used to be an

I don't have any other advice to offer you. All of the sudden (since about January) my cycle has been soooo wacky it's not even funny. And my moods well we're not even gonna go there. My husband (who does NOT believe in ANY type of medication other than advil) recently suggested I go get something like xanax for "some of those times" Hmmmm
Hope you are feeling better soon!
