***Sunday Roll Call***

Good Morning all!!

I'm not so sure what's on the agenda today.  Hubby never did go down to his parents house yesterday so that is definately what he is doing.  He's leaving probably between 12:30 and 1:00.

I have off tonight so generally speaking I would go with him.  Haven't seen the inlaws since the two memorial services anyway....and we need to resolve some things.

However....if I"m to tired or just not feeling up to it I may stay home.  We'll see how the day progresses!

Anything exciting going on?

Nothing exciting here. LOL. I am wide awake and have been since 2:30 am. Starting having some contractions so it kept me up, they went away but till then I was up. So I sorted through all the gift bags in the living room. Our families had a surprise shower for me yesterday so the living room looked like it exploded baby gift bags!

After that, Johnny's alarm went off for work so I went ahead and made him an egg sandwich to take to work to eat, then packed him tuna for later. Now, I am just bored....LOL

This morning it's just me and Riley. The boys wanted to go to moms last night for a sleep over. So her and I may run to walmart to pick up a few things. Then we will stop by the race track to watch Johnny for an hour or so.

This evening is my mom's Easter Cantata at her church. We will all go to that and the social afterwards. Then home to settle down for evening and get ready for the week.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Happy Sunday.. you are now reading a message from the new resident of an apartment minus the DH!! WOO HOO!!  We are now completely moved in and slept here last night! YAY!!! I'm really not sure why I am awake right now, other than that I woke up to pee and came to the computer instead of getting back in bed.  I am really tired from everything we did yesterday so I will get back in bed for a while once I am done on here.

The move went very smoothly.  DH and 2 of his friends helped, and I had 7 of my friends help. My dad and step mom kept Siehara over night and then met us at the apartment.   I don't think I ever saw a move go so well.  It was just plain awesome!!  I only seem to be missing one tote that was packed at the last minute and contains things like toothbrushes, bath scrunchies and my alarm clock.  Not sure what else is in it.  I'm going to have to call my friend to see if it ended up in her car instead of the truck because I really don't see it here.  I don't think there was anything too important in it-- whatever was in it is definitely replaceable.

SOOOOO.. after I wake BACK up today, I have to run over to Siehara's dr's office to get a new Rx for her meds, get it filled and then back here to do some more unpacking.  If you would walk in to my apt right now, you'd be shocked at how much is actually done.  I made sure my work PC was up and running so there is no issue on Monday with that.  A few friends stayed and helped to be sure the beds were together, as well as the dining room table.  My dad and step mom washed dishes, dusted and started filling the china closet.  Another friend came later and brought me a router which is why I am able to write this now.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

I hate moving, but I do enjoy fixing up a new place.  We have been here almost a year now and have done alot to make this a home.  I love the space.  I am a space person.  I used to be a small and cozy person but now that I have space, I love it!

I think I am going to prefer the small apartment to the big house.. less to clean, no steps, maintenance at my beck and call.. LOL!  I am enjoying the decorating part, even though it is costing me some bucks.

We rent.  In this economy, I won't own.  Jobs are not stable and I don't want to get stuck with a house.

Well, it's a quiet Sunday for me.. must do some 'homework' for work... which is ok, cause I can focus more easily than when I am in the office.   Plan to get out and some yardwork, too.  Walk the dogs, too.

Should be a peaceful day... which is what I need.
Happy Sunday!

Hi all,

Well spent $300 yesterday on groceries and natural products (expensive!) and feel drained.  I didn't get anything done that I wanted to get done.  Today is relax day me thinks.

I have to prepare for our first major support group meeting Friday night.  The adverts have gone out and we will see what kind of turn out we have.  I feel inpressed to tell them my story and how I ended up "here".  At least they will know who I am and where I am coming from.

The car saga continues.  Now I know why the previous owners sold it.  Has issues, but I refuse to buy their issues so the car stays in the sellers possession until the car is fixed.

Good Morning PA!!!

Well today is supposed to be a relaxing day at home but we said that yesterday and the wind knocked a tree into the middle of our street and we had to wait for the police and the borough and all those guys to come out....but then this young guy and his friend stopped by and asked what were we going to do with the tree.  We said hopefully the borough will take it and he said he had a wood stove and would love to take the tree as he...get this!!...likes to cut trees for fun!!!  So he grabbed his friend and his chainsaws and in 2 hours had the entire tree cut into pieces.  The borough came out and took all the smaller pieces...we just have to remove the stump and fill the hole.  But thank goodness no one or nothing got hurt--we took a ton of pics though.

When we bought the house I remember saying to Barry why is there a tree planted on the side of the little hill--apparently as part of a revitalization project the bourough planted trees for everyone...ahhhh....yea this tree was a dud!!

Anywho--as for today relaxing at home is on my agenda...possibly mark some tests and do some homework and read a book.  Laundry and straightening up are also on the plan for today.

Hope everyone has a great day!! Enjoy the sunshine!!

Much luv!!

Today is DH 70th birthday so I will be spending the day with him.  His health is not the best so I thank the good Lord everyday for this precious time with him.  Today is the last day of my vacation so it is back to the grind tomorrow.  I love my job but the week before a major holiday is the pits.  So busy.  The good side of working in a grocery store is I have job security.  So much to be thankful for.  The sun is shining and life is good.  Have a great day everyone.
