A little WOW moment for me tonight..

Okay so I just came back from Barix Clinic from visiting my former boss who just had surgery this morning with Dr Boe. Anyway one of the newer nurses came in to tell my boss it was time to take a stroll and she started apologizing to me and I said I understand perfectly since I was a former patient there. The nurse told me to do a slow spin as she could not believe that I ever weighed over 230lbs. I just had to post this one as she told me that I have great legs and hinie. LOL!! As I get further from the surgery date compliments are getting fewer and fewer but they make me feel so good when somebody compliments me. Maybe Mike is right I am starting to love mirrors because these days I can't pass one without looking at myself

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

You DO look awesome!  Great for her to recognize that fact even without knowing your journey personally!

Congrats!

I always love that reaction. Because ourselves, we do know we were there, so to hear someone say they can't believe we ever were, is great to hear.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

wow funny you should mention that.  George and I were at Neshaminy's Walmart last night buying me an MP3 I have deceided to come into the 20th century or is it the 21st? and we were walking thru the electronics department and there are these odd mirror type panels and I saw myself and said wow who is that chick? Funny huh? Before I had wls I hated mirrors.  Life is good.
