Hey Gang!

Its 415am - and I thought I would take the lead on this.  As some of your know I'm headed to surgery in a few hours.  I will be in great hands with Dr. Herman up at the Pocono Medical Center.   I am running the gamet of emotions this morning and am grateful for the outpouring of well wishes.

The rest of the day I will begin my recovery.

Everyone enjoy your day - its supposed to be another nice one.

Good luck today Kim.

We'll all be thinking about you!

I'm glad the weekend is almost upon us.

Going to see some family and friends. It should be great.

Hope everybody has a great day, and in even better weekend!

It's your day today, Kim!  I'm sorry I couldn't get/stay online yesterday - the computer was giving me to many issues.  I saw the post about your surgery but couldn't respond!  Good luck!

It is 5am and I am up for no other reason than I was tired of my subconscious playing games on me.  Lately every time I go to sleep I am having terrifying nightmares.  Almost all of whi*****lude my demise in some respect or another.  Last night in the span of 6 hours I drove off a cliff, went down in a burning plane, had a house fire, and was burgarlized.  The one where there was a house fire was soooo realistic I woke up crying and actually had Brian get out of bed and check to make sure the stove was off, there were no candles on etc etc etc.  He was less than thrilled.  (why did I have HIM do it?  Because I was sooooo convinced that the dream was real as I had just woken up I was convinced I was going to FIND a fire and didn't want to, the wuss that I am!)

Anyway - I'm gonna go food shopping in a little bit.  I'll make up some food for the weekend as I am working Friday and Saturday and get some of my basics which I am currently out of - such as ricotta cheese, yogurt, and polly-o string cheese.

Hopefully after my fitful sleep last night I will be able to sleep this afternoon and go to work tonight somewhat rested :)

Oh - and it's raining, here, Kim (which is pretty close to the Pocono area) so hopefully the weather turns around soon!

Well after plastering my face all over this board this morning catching up (sheesh after only one day without posting?  This place is amazing if we didn't already know that) I figured I'd bring roll call back up to the top so people can find it!  I know, I'm a geek.

Well, I was supposed to pick up my car yesterday but it wasn't ready.  The owner went on vacation and the lady was unaware of everything that needed to be done.  I refused to take it until all that was promised was completed.  So, hopefully today!  Also, I will be volunteering today as well.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good Morning all.........

I ama t work till 3:30 then HOME! No appts, no errands, no nothing. LOL. This evening I will have Johnny run tot he store to pick up a few groceries. Doc would like me to eliminate any extra driving, chores, errands etc for the next few weeks, so I am sending him out. LOL

This evening I will have the boys pack and overnight bag and I will do the same for Riley. I want to make sure if I go into labor at an odd time, we all have bags packed. That way they are ready to go to my sisters at the last minute. Other than that, not too much. Hoping to make dinner on the grill but the weather will decide that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Do you have a GPS system?  You might need it.  You and your car might not know how to go directly from work to home!  Enjoy your evening!  And cheers to doctors orders to sending Johnny out, LOL

The only problem is, I like to do my OWN grocery shopping. there is always stuff I don't think about till I see it there. Or sometimes I get things depending on a sale or coupon. Johnny will just get whatever is on the list.....not look a prices and then get the heck out of there. So it may cost me more, but I will have to be OK with that I suppose. LOL

Chris is the same way! One day I sent him after my gallbladder surgery and he told me that they didn't have Crystal Lite! Oh they have it just not where you looked! lol And ONLY what is on the list - unless it is something he wants!

better then no food though! lol

The best/worst grocery shopping trips were the ones I would take Friday night / Saturday morning at 2:00 AM after a shift at the bar.

I'd go to Wal-Mart, just buy whatever looked good, and go home, throw all the bags in the fridge and go to bed.

Waking up the next morning, it was like Christmas because it was all surprises - but mostly just Pop Tarts, Doritos, Cheese, Cookies, and Little Debbies.

On a completely unrelated tangent, I also used to weigh 425 lbs. No clue how that happened.
