Trying to stay positive. . .

Hi PA Posters,

Just wanted to pop out of my shell to say that I have been spending hours on the computer looking for work, been on interviews that go no where and keep hoping that the right job shows up sooner rather than later.  When I'm not doing that I am keeping my doggie (who is far exceeding what I could have imagined a month ago) company or things that need to get done around the house.

These rainy, gloomy days get me down, though I don't stay there, but realities are what they are and things are tough and right now I am saving my energy for me, which has kept me off the boards, because when I stop reading want ads and submitting resumes online, my eyesight is tired and so what was once an enjoyable way of passing time is now something I can't wait to get away from, the computer once my friend, is now my "employer".

So if you've noticed I'm not found on here, please feel free to drop me a PM, as it's always good to hear from friends and know you are missed and please know that I think of you guys and wish all newcomers to the "Loser's Bench" a good journey.  Enjoy those WOW moments and when I have a chance I will share the good part of what I am experiencing about my current cir****tances.

Hugs and lots of postiive thoughts for all (including myself), Laureen

Laureen,
I am so sorry I didn't know you were looking for a job. I just figured you were missing on boards because of your doggie. Hey if you want please feel free to PM me your resume. I will certainly network on your behalf to see what I can do for you.

I am sorry I am not going to be able to make it this Saturday's Barix meeting but I will tell you that its important to take care of yourself at times like this. You know I was there around Christmas time and I know exactly how you are feeling but I know if anybody can do it you can. Any thing I can do for you please don't hesitate to call me.

(((Big Hugs coming your way)))

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!
