Feeling kind of icky the last few days
still have prissy pouch.....foamy acid is what i like to call it. Its a constant foamy sour taste going on in the pouch. Doc put me on some new meds for reflux and they help, somewhat. I have also changed my diet regimen. I was using Celebration chewables for everything and i dont think that they were agreeing with me. Have had some relief since going back to my regular vitamins and supplements.
yesterday and today i have also been feeling really tired. have been having a real hard time getting my protein and fluids in too. i'm not sick, just icky feeling. I know i have to get going again on the protein (have been doing so well until these last few days)...guess i've just gotten myself into a slump. I see my surgeon on Monday for my 1 month follow up...we'll see what he says then.
thanks for listening
p.s. anyone need celebration vitamins/supplements...let me know , i have a 3 month supply i wont be using

I'm glad to hear you are on new meds for the reflux as that was my first thought. Those meds take time to work generally speaking and it might require some "tweaking" before you find the right combo.
The protein will come in time. Are you using dairy to mix your protein shakes with? If so, try it with water. Lactose (milk etc) increases reflux symptoms.
Hang in there and feel better soon. It's hard getting through this stage but it'll happen and you'll feel great in no time and this too will be a distant memory!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Sorry to hear you've been feeling icky - and because you're not getting that protein in right now its no wonder you're feeling tired - all part of the process, tho. Hopefully the new meds will help your prissy pouch and you can get on with the protein shakes and once you do you'll start feeling better again.
Take care...feel better soon!
