Congratulations Lisa - that is fantastic news!! I saw you left some posts on my recent blogs - thanks for the compliments! I heard you're going to be at Liz's next weekend and I'm so sad I won't be able to come see you - my sister is bringing my mom home from Florida and I'm going to have a houseful of her kids and grandkids there - wait a minute - maybe I will come to Liz's to escape the madness!! Just kidding - but I am going to miss seeing you and your new squeeze!

I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you...hopefully we'll catch up in person one of these days.

Thank you so much Kathy! It's too bad you won't be able to make it to Liz's house -- it's been so long since we've seen each other and I would have really loved to catch up in person (and introduce you to Adam of course, too!) -- I hope your house isn't too crazy that weekend with the houseful of kids and grandkids, but that should be nice too :) I'll be thinking of you though and I really hope we can see each other soon!!

Lisa, Congrats on your good news. I'm sorry I seem to be out of the loop. Are you still finishing law school and or have you just decided to switch careers? Or perhaps you are getting 2 advanced degrees? Of course being a professional student who just loves to be educated is also another option. WhATEVER, i WISH YOU THE BEST! May you find joy in your studies, and your work!

Thank you so much Chris! To answer your questions -- no, I am not getting 2 advanced degrees. Things with law school didn't really work out and I am now switching careers. While I was in law school, I always spoke about doing the kind of work that was more similar to what a social worker does, so I truly believe this will be a better fit for me. Thank you very much for wishing me the best. I hope you are doing well and it was really great to hear from you!!!
