OT - sort of....
Hey All - I wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you for being so kind and welcoming here on the PA board.
I have been poking around on a few of the other forums here on OH and have come across some threads that are just crazy. Terrible name calling, people calling Child Services on members, attacks on sexual preference, etc. I'm sure you guys have seen these threads that I am talking about.
Anyhow, thanks for being friendly ! I think I'll stick to posting on the PA board.

This is a good board for support and questions etc. You will always get a response and answers.
Some of the other boards are for my "viewing entertainment" only. LOL I will admit I lurk, but this board and the preggo board are the places I go for questions, support, and advice. I certainly don't live near anyone on the board and don't get to participate in alot of the activities that go on, but still feel comfortable here. And I like that.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Make no mistake that if you need your butt kicked into gear people on this board will do it for you, but in the nicest way and if anyone gets too far out of line they'll be called on the carpet for it. I know my journey wouldn't have been as successful as it has been if it weren't for the wonderful people on this board.

I had an absolutely horrific experience on the main RNY board just barely four weeks out of surgery.
I stay here and on the preggo board as well (hubby and I are trying for a baby, not pregnant yet but I'm getting all the advice from those wonderful ladies as I can)
Here, it is an awesome place.
Like Kathy said - we have no problems kicking your arse into gear if and when needed but always done with love and support as the main intention.
We love having you here!
