undies update - I know you were all dying to know!

OK so I was in Target today and they had some hanes control top thingies on sale for like $4. I figured what the hell - for $4 we'll give it a whirl - got it home, wrestled my way into this thing (I swear to god male contortionist invented this crapola!) Alright, so I get it on - it is almost like a pair of bike shorts that comes up to right  below the bra line, nude colored and the legs, which go to right above my knee are like panty hose. Well I slipped on my new dress for Target over it and it looks great from the front! BUT... from the side I look like 6 months pregnant! Now while I wish I was... I am SERIOUSLY going to get questions if I wear this thing out! The dress in empire waisted, I'll have to post pics when there is someone around to take them for me. Maybe it will work better with jeans and a top..

Just thought that I would end the suspense! MAybe I should order one of those Spanx ones....

They're amazing, but a hell of a time to get on...  def. worth the money, but look it up on ebay.  MUCH cheaper!!!

you might need to get an extra piece... they have these at kolhs... it is like a sex girtle piece... made me look great waist wise... but since you don't have the fat roll like I do... you won't have the issue I had with it lol... which was made me look great from the waist up... made me look horrible from the waist down lol... but once I have the baby and lose more I am sooo going back and getting it!

Oh the spanx are just as bad getting into but God are they worth it.

But maybe it's the dress?  Have you worn the dress before without anything like that under neath?

Nope, just bought the dress to wear for Easter. Maybe I'll have to try it on and get some opinions! Might just be my eye - I always see the worst!

OK, so you got them on - what happens when you have to go potty?? I'm guessing you better leave yourself plenty of time to get in there, get them off, and then back on again - my god, my boss will think I've left for lunch if I have to go thru all that at work!!

I think most of the undergarments have an "opening" just for that purpose.  At least spanx does.

Thanks for asking Kathy!  I was wondering too.   When I gotta go, I gotta go!!!   No time for wrestling in the toilet to get the darn thing down, not to mention my office is the furthest from the bathrooms around here.   God forbid I took a water pill!   Did that one day at home and peed myself by the time I got to the ladies room here at work (I didn't have a trusty DD coffee cup like HG uses).   Ended up going to nearby TJ Maxx and buying a new outfit and getting using the shower at work...how freakin embarrassing, not to mention I was an hour late and they left messages at my house cause they were concerned.   Obviously I told them I hit a bump in the road and my coffee spilled on me...  Hmmm, maybe I can get that covered by insurance at TT time??   Do the guys go through this stuff???   Inquiring minds want to know

One day I wore some "panties of steel" to work. I don't remember the brand name, but I do know that they made my pants look great! Up until about 10:30 in the morning, that is. By that time I couldn't take the pain anymore and I drove home and changed my undies! Thank goodness I live close by! They really did look good, though ...

awesome!!! I live an hour from work though.... I would have to finish out the day commando! lol and I work with on something like 22 MEN! no thanks!
