C-pap Study

Good Morning everyone - I had my C-pap study last night and I must say that it went really well.  It took a few minutes to get the hang of it, but  I ended up sleeping really well.  I feel well rested today.  I go back for second consult with the Dr. next week now that I am finished the studies.  I guess he will then write the orders for the C-pap machine.

You will find that once you adjust to having it, you will LOVE it! My mom cannot believe how much better she feels. In fact, if she comes to our house for dinner and cards, she brings it along just in case it's a late night and she might crash at our place. She doesn't like to be without it anymore. LOL

 I am happy for your mother! I have had my CPAP for almost 1 month and I still pull it off at night! Does she have any suggestions?

Glad you did good with the machine, Lisa - they are a funny looking contraption, aren't they! When I went back for my second visit to use the machine they put me in bed and said they would be back before I fell asleep to put it one me, etc. Well, I fall asleep really fast so they had to come in and wake me up to put the machine on - sort of like waking a sleeping patient to give them a sleeping pill! But wear it and you will feel better for, surgery will go better, and soon after surgery you will be rid of it  forever.

Yay!  Glad to hear it went well.  And now you can check off one more thing before surgery! 

Hey girls....just a funny note....I found two blobs of glue in my hair that I missed when I washed my hair this morning.....You can't see them when you look at me, but I know they are there.  I feel like I have two little horns growing in....
