Thursday Roll Call
hey yal, I am still at work and thought I would get things started.
First wanted to update you on my niece, she is still in the MH unit and they are taking things slow with her. God willing they will be able to help her, and my sister will be able to let them without interferring. I wish I could be down there so I could go visit her. This is hard.
Thursday I have class to teach, should be interesting we are discussing gender roles. I will try and remain calm, some of them actually think that if a man wears a skirt it means he is gay. No real understanding of orientation, gender etc. Lord help me.
Then I am going to meet Jason for lunch we do this once a week to catch up because we hardly see one another during the week.
Then it is off to work again. I am so ready for this week to be over. So how are you all doing?

Today's gonna be a long day. It's already starting off early...can't sleep and haven't been able to for the last nearly 2 weeks. Anyway, I think I will head to the gym, since I am up already. Then off to work for about 9-10 hrs. Got to get home and feed the dog before heading to the gym again to meet with my personal trainer for another hour. By the time all is said and done, I should be spent by the time I get home! I hope everyone has a productive and safe day!!

This morning I will get kids off to school, then head to the hospital for my Non- Stress Test. After that I head over to the other side of town to get my IV Iron infusion. This is my 1st of 8 for this round. I will be there for most of the morning, then head to work to finish my day. I have to work till 5 today then it's home for dinner, homework with the kids and laundry.
Not a very exciting day but busy......LOL

Morning! I hope your niece is able to get the help she so desperately needs.
I am in jersey this morning. We had a GREAT night at work after the first few hours passed which was great. I've gotten my butt beat at LVH the past few nights and I was very happy to not have it happen here as well.
We are having a party at work tonight so I have been put in charge in making some sort of dessert. Either a cake or brownies or something. I'll have to see what I'm in the mood to make and what my parents have in the house that I can make :)
I also need to wait until the bank opens because brilliant here left her ATM card at home and need to go to the bank and get money out the good old fashioned way, LOL That way I can buy a card for my brother and get his gift which I ended up NOT doing yesterday.
I will then attempt to go to bed and need to be up around 6ish for a small bday party for said brother at my parents house. The good news is that if I don't get a whole lot of sleep after the dinner and gifts, I can still probably sleep a few hours more before work as I am not in till 11 at this job and well, that's a luxury I'm not used to. Plus, my "commute" from my parents house is a whopping 8 mins. So really I don't have to get up till 10:15 (although that's pushing it as I like to get to work early and also like to take my time getting ready) if absolutely necessary.
And that's my day in a nutshell!

Today is another volunteer day at the hospital. Knitting club tonight. Not a whole lot else going on today. Supposed to be rainy!
OH! Haha, I tested a little red scooter yesterday. Since we live in a small town, it would be perfect to puts around. Teehee, not sure though.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Today has me working 7-11 then calling friends of mine who had their consult with my surgeon. After that, I will see what else I can manage to pack/sort and then I will relax a bit.
I have to pick my daughter up from school today as this is the first day of Girls on the Run. It is a great program geared toward 3rd-5th grade girls. They train to run a 5k, but in the process learn all about self-esteem, being a good person and overall "girl power". This is the 3rd time my daughter has joined and I think it has been great. I am going to try to get there early so I can do the laps with them. They are always looking for adult volunteers and if I can get some exercise in the process.. what the hey!

Nocole - I am so glad that your neice is getting the help that she needs. I just hope that the Dr's can do what they need to do! I am sure that this can't be easy on your sister, especially if she is going through it "alone" I know you support her but are far away.

I am at wor****il 4 then I have to stop at the grocery store to get 2 things that I forgot earlier in the week and home to rest - I haven't been feeling myself this past week, bloated, OMG tired, nauseous, did I mention TIRED!, hoping that a weekend of rest makes me feel better.

Good Thursday morning everyone!!!
Today has my day started with checking things online and then doing a little transcribing for work...then taking Connor to school, only to come back and do more transcribing. I will be in my office ALL DAY today. I have a lot to get done and turned in.
Tonight it's therapy time...it's good to talk about things, you know :)
