Fit Flops
I haven't used that brand, but before WLS I was wearing MBT sneakers at work. They were also supposed to "tone" and give you a "work out" while walking. That is NOT the reaon I wore them, however. They have a curved sole which helped me to distribute my oh so much extra weight a little bit better and allowed me to not have as much of an aching back.
I didn't notice a difference except in my posture and my walking. I have foot problems and what not and tend to walk on the outside of my feet (very bad) and it helped to correct that problem when I was actually walking in them.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
I think Good Morning America or something like that did a study on them... so did Rachael Ray... and people liked them... for some it helped a lot... for others they didn't see a difference but the measuring tape did show they lost some inches...
I say go for it... if I wasn't such a mess just walking I would try them myself lol... because they also work your butt too hehehe...

Hi Lisa!
I have a pair of Fit Flops AND 2 pairs of knock offs made by Skechers. (They are all the same.) VERY comfortable. They do take a little getting used to, but I love them. Now, whether or not they've helped my butt, legs or anything else, I don't really think so....but they sure are comfortable. =)
