Today will not be the greatest of days for me, but I will be as good as I can! LOL

B: Special K Protein Cereal w/ Soy Milk
S: No sugar added canned peaches (1/2 can)
L: Leftover Hamburger Helper LOL
S: Other half of canned peaches
D: Spaghetti (I will mostly eat the meatsauce with just a little pasta)
S: popcorn? or banana (depends on if I am feeling salty or sweet)

A little too much pasta today, but trying to balance that out with higher protein at breakfast and fruit for snacks........

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I find that this does help to keep me accountable - welcome aboard! I also find that if I screw up during the day I post that too - just to be accountable!

It does help to post a plan - not that I always stick to mine totally but at least it gives me something to work from during the day and I try to stick to it as closely as possible. Your plan looks pretty good for someone who isn't too far out from surgery - just remember to get all your water in, too - that helps a lot.

Tomorrow I am allowed to start soft foods! Woo hoo! Any tips or ideas from you gals?
I think i have been doing OK. I lost 30 lbs so far! I never ever feel "full" though. I eat a half cup of food because that is what my nut told me to do but I feel like I could eat more (I WON"T!) Maybe once I get to soft and reg food I will feel full because there is more substance??

B: Atkins shake-took all morning to drink
S: no snack because I was working on my shake
L: 1/2 cup egg beaters
S: 8 oz SF Carnation
D: a little less than a half cup pureed chicken and a couple green beans thrown in there.
S : 1/4 cup cottage cheese

Have a good day guys!

You are doing great! When Dr Brader did your surgery he had to cut through the nerves of your stomach - you won't get that "feeling" bac****il about  months out - enjoy it while you can! It also means you don't feel true huger!

Take it slow with the soft foods - I found the transitions a bit rough. I believe that white fish and ground meat are on that list - just take small bites and chew chew chew!!
