Sleep Study bonus....NOT

Hi everyone, some of you might have read my mini-rant earlier today about the sleep study I had last night and all the gooey glue that came with it.

Well, it appears that I have had a minor allergic reaction to the adhesive.  My face has broken out in spots where the tape was and the areas where some of the leads were placed, it is all red & itchy.  Great

I should have know this was going to happen.  I'm allergic to most bandaid adhesives.

Oh well.....that's the way it goes I guess.

I am allergic to that stuff too... and the more i get exposed to it the worse it gets... make sure you let them know... and when you are in surgery... I forgot to tell them before surgery and I was a mess afterwards lol...

Well now at least they'll be able to see exactly where they put the leads on when you go back on Thursday...LOL

Oh man, that sucks! Maybe you can ask them for latex free tapes?? Or at least tell them (or show them) what the adhesive did to your skin. It has to be strong stuff because it stinks so bad, and then the stuff they use to take it off is even worse! And they might have something you can put on the itchy spots...
