Back to the gym after too many years
After way too many years of letting my gym membership waste away, going for a while then stopping, letting my money go to waste...............
TADA i finally renewed my membership for 2 whole years. (they were even nice enough to not charge me a re-initiation fee). Having been given the tool of RNY, now i want to start out doing it all correctly. At this stage, I am limited to walking on the treadmill and riding the bikes but hey, its a start. Yesterday was my first day and although i didnt get too far, it was better than i thought. Today was even better. Considering i havent exercised in..ummm too long to remember, i am proud of myself. One small baby step at a time!!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/jump.gif)

Congrats and keep it up!!! It's actually better to start small one step at a time. Even people who are "used" to working out - if they don't work out for a little bit and then over do it, you make your body much sorer than it should be, which leads to not wanting to go back etc etc.
Have fun!

That's awesome!
I'd urge you to log you exercise, because it allows you to have a good picture of what you're doing, and where you're going.
Plus, it'll be fun to look back in your little notebook a few months from now to analyze your progress.
If you have any questions, throw them up on the board, and we'll try and help!
