Ok so I'm one month out, only 10lbs down from surgery, but I thought I'd post some pictures anyways!

Day of surgery 219lbs                            Today 209lbs

It's quite frustrating because I've been at a stall for 2 weeks now. I lost ten pounds in the first 2 weeks, then zip...I hope this passes soon!!!!!

Too early to get frustrated - your body is adjusting to the sudden weight loss - thinks its starving so its holding on to everything right now - mostly water. GET OFF THE SCALE and let your tool work for you because it will. You're not in a 'stall' - that'll come later, trust me - this is just your body adjusting to its new self and the surgery and everything else thats going on - 10 pounds in your first two weeks is awesome because from what I'm seing on your pictures you don't have a whole lot of weight to lose?

Regardless - the weight will come off - the tool does work - put the scale away for now and let your body adjust to everything - get your liquids and proteins in and walk, walk, walk.

Wow - the transformation from "just" 10 pounds is amazing!!  Conagrats for all your work!

The stalls CAN be frustrating - but know that this too shall pass!!  Anywhere from 3-6 weeks is the perfect time for a stall - and then it will pick back up again.

Concentrate on protein, fluids and walking/exercising.  If you can change your menu up a bit, that will help too.  Keep working the tool!

Hi Jena
WOW you look awesome...i can see the changes already with just 10 lbs.  whoo hooooo

I know how you feel, at 19 days post op i feel kind of stalled too, but i am listening to all of the advice here and not letting it get to me.  I have lost about 22 pounds since surgery but my belly and waist feel the same size to me.  I know its not a real "stall", just what they said...my body retaliating against the sudden weight loss.

We just have to keep on doing what we are doing and we WILL get there!!!

wow! for ONLY losing 10lbs you look terrific! I lost the greatest percentage of my weight the first week (11.5lbs) and then it was little dribs and drabs here and there afterwards. Of course those little dribs and drabs have added up to 83lbs in 6 months.

You're doing great, keep it up and you'll get there.
