OT Update on the family

Kudos to your sister for recognizing that your niece needs help and for getting it!!!  Having worked in MH/MR for a lot of years, I saw many families deny that anything was wrong.  It's sad to see a young person need hospitalization, but it's good that she's getting help.   And it's great that you're supporting them in this decision!!   I'm hoping for the best for all of you!

Having admitted a few family members to psych facilities before, I know how trying this is for you and the whole family.

I know you are a great pillar of support, and knowledge, for your sister in situations like this and make sure you take care of yourself as well.
