a wow of sorts
Alright, so I had a lot of yard work I wanted to do today when Chris was out getting his pool table. I did some things that I have never been able to do before.
1) pull start the weedwhacker! It sounds like something silly but I could never do that before, I have always had to have Chris do it for me.
2) rototilled my garden, again sounds like something easy, but consider the rototiller itself is held like a weedwhacker and weighs a good 30 pounds (and vibrates until your arms feel like melted jello) I was out there for over an hour until the garden was done.
3) carried a soaking wet bale of hay about 30 feet (that sucker was heavy as all heck!)
4) cleaned up the yard of some of the leaves and sticks - many trips back and forth to the trash cans and my little fire pit.
My back is a bit sore - some of those things are against my rules (herniated and decompressed disks) but it is SO worth it to have the great feeling of having it all done! AND having done it myself!! I also managed to get some housework done, made homemade pizza, laundry, purged my drawers and closet
So thanks for listening and sharing this journey with me!
