Hi to all

My name is Chris and I attended the post-op meeting at Barix Clinics in Langhorne last night. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the wonderful support and encouragement that was provided. I am new to this whole show but look forward to being part of it. I was amazed at the support that was provided at this meeting I honestly did not expect as much as I observed. I look forward to talking with everyone and hope to make this a life long friendship.

Chris - welcome aboard! The Barix staff and patients are second to none!!

I'm from the Bridesburg section which is like Northeast Philly I guess.

I should have put thi sin my first post - but well it is too early for proper brain function! lol (despite the fact that I am already at work!)

I host a cooking class / support group - see my previous post from yesterday. You are more then welcome to come if you would like! It is this weekend 3/21 - saturday.

Hi Chris,

I'm so glad that you got so much from the meeting.  It actually was one of the best meetings we've had.  We are family here on OH and at Barix.  I don't know where I would be today if it wasn't for the true family I've met because of my journey.  They mean the world to me.  The friendships I've made will last a lifetime, and I feel blessed everyday to know each and everyone of them.

We've heard before that our group is the best support group out there.  And after last night, I have no doubt that that is true.  Thanks for your input with Jessica.  I so hope that she finds the help and support she needs to get her through the tough time she's going through.

You have a neighbor in Bridesburg; one of my good friends through barix.  She was sitting two away from me last night.  Her name is Kim Burke and her OH name is Bcutekitty...I'm sure she'll be chiming into your post.

I don't remember how far out you are but a group of us go to Fran Lee's for comedy night every month bring your wife & come join us .our good friend Beth is the D.J and you Kim she goes all the time it is in fact  this FRiday but Kim can't come this week it is 25.00 all u can eat and drink LOL for as much as we eat, we should get BOGO

It was a wonderful meeting last night - one of the best.  Stay connected.  It is an amazing group of people and it is so nice to see more and more guys attend the meeting.  Your words to Jessica were so supportive.

  GLad you found us all over here..I have to say you picked one hell of night to join us at a support group meeting because it was one fo the BEST ones we have had,,I left feeling energized by and so full of successing thoughts. YOU added to that feeling so that you for speaking up!
